Food in Greenland tells the story of the sea, the land, the seasons and the people who live here.
Join Palle Jerimiassen for a personal indoor tasting experience featuring a changing selection of Greenlandic foods and local ingredients.
Each tasting is introduced with stories about the traditions, people and way of life connected to the food. You will learn how hunting, fishing, preservation and the Arctic seasons have shaped Greenlandic food culture through generations.
The selection changes according to the season and availability of local ingredients. This is a tasting experience rather than a full dinner.
The event takes place indoors and is not dependent on the weather.

Please provide all food allergies and dietary requirements when booking. Ilulissat Event will confirm which requirements can be accommodated.
Children under 6 must still be included in the booking.
Important booking information
Booking closes 48 hours before each event.
The event requires a minimum of six paying guests. If the minimum number is not reached, the event will be cancelled and the full booking amount will be refunded.
